Leadership and Performance Development
With a career spanning executive leadership, law, consulting, and academia, I bring a diverse experience and broad range of knowledge to my performance coaching and leadership development practice. Throughout my nearly 20-year career with the federal government I was a forward-thinking professional dedicated to driving strategic success and fostering meaningful connections. As a Branch Chief with the U.S. Department of Labor, I led community outreach, customer experience initiatives, and stakeholder engagement efforts that enhanced the federal benefits program. My expertise in project management, regulatory compliance, and policy development helped build a unit that successfully processed over $1 Billion in annual benefits.
Beyond my governmental leadership, my experience extends into legal practice in commercial litigation at a large law firm and private consulting where I founded and operated an engineering consulting firm. I have been dedicated to self-improvement and continual learning. I am a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute and am currently enrolled in the Brown University School of Professional Studies.
I am a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, a lifetime member of Disabled Veterans of America, and a member of the Federal Executive Institute Alumni Association. My leadership in my local community emergency response team and past work with a search and rescue team and the American Red Cross shows my dedication to help others. My greatest satisfaction from my years with the government came from watching those I mentored and coached be successful and get promoted. These are the experiences and successes I bring to my coaching practice.

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) definition of coaching:
“Partnering with Clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. Coaches honor the Client as the expert in their life and work and believe every Client is Creative, Resourceful, and Whole.”
This video from ACT Leadership describes the value and return on investment that coaching can provide.
